# Sign in and fund your wallet

> Sign in with Privy and prepare your Solana wallet to use Flew.

## Step 1: Sign in

Open the [Flew web app](https://flew.live) and click **Sign In**. Flew uses Privy for authentication.

You can continue with:

* **Email:** Privy creates an embedded Solana wallet for your account.
* **Solana wallet:** Connect a compatible wallet detected by Privy.

After signing in, Flew displays the Solana wallet address associated with your session.

## Step 2: Check the network

Confirm which Solana network Flew is using before funding your wallet. The current web interface displays its network beside the Flew name. Devnet SOL and mainnet SOL are different assets and cannot be used interchangeably.

## Step 3: Fund your wallet

You need SOL for:

* Your position amount
* Solana transaction fees
* Arcium computation transactions used by private market actions

Send the correct network's SOL to the wallet address displayed by Flew. Keep a small additional balance for transaction fees.

<Warning>
  Always verify the full wallet address and active network before transferring
  SOL. Transactions sent to the wrong address or network cannot be reversed by
  Flew.
</Warning>

## Position encryption

You do not need to complete a separate Arcium setup step. When you place a position, Flew prepares the encrypted position-side input and the Arcium computation transaction as part of the normal placement flow.

<Note>
  Your wallet credentials are managed by your wallet provider or Privy. Flew's
  position-encryption key material is separate from the private key that
  controls your Solana wallet.
</Note>
